A LONG WINTERS' WAIT.

It's Spring!!!! Though you wouldn't know it in our neck of the woods. We enjoyed a fantastic winter in West Yellowstone (nearly 50” remain on the ground today!) and while the white stuff's been great and all ... .bring on the sunshine. We're ready for rain, for grass, flowers, and warmer days. Yellowstone offers a great springtime show with melting snow, baby animals, and quiet roads. In the early weeks of April you can enjoy the Park by foot or bike. This unique way to experience Yellowstone is becoming more and more popular. For more information, visit the Park Service online at http://www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/springbike.htm.

OPEN THE GATES!

April 18th is a big day for residents and visitors alike! Yellowstone National Park opens the door (the one on the west, anyway) and lets us in. Motorized travel is possible from West Yellowstone to the Madison Junction, Norris Junction, Canyon, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Old Faithful. Let the season begin!

STILL PLANNING FOR SUMMER?

Yellowstone Country books up quickly for the summer season ... so why not change your plans a bit and enjoy some discounts in West? Early spring and late fall are amazing in Yellowstone and there aren't any crowds! Sure, there's a trade-off: there are fewer options for trinket shopping and dining around town, but lodging is less expensive and traveling through the Park is easier! Keep it in mind. Also, don't forget about winter (we can't forget ... it still looks like winter). It's a great time of year to travel Montana and remember what the white season is all about! Check-out our availability for the Dates Less Traveled ... . If you're set on the summer months, we still have dates remaining ... so don't give up!

A BAR N BABY.

Cormack Flynn became the newest and teeniest member of the Bar N family on December 17th. For past visitors and return guests who might remember Kate, you will be happy to know that both she and the baby are both happy and healthy ... looking forward to a lifetime of firsts.

Be sure and call if you have any questions...we'd love to hear from you!
