As you enter West Yellowstone you will come to a signal light. This light indicates the intersection of Hwy 191 and Hwy 20. You will turn RIGHT and drive towards Idaho Falls. About 5 miles from town you will cross the South Fork of The Madison River. Continue driving and after roughly one mile you should see the Bar N Ranch sign on the right hand side of the road. Turn RIGHT and follow the driveway for about one mile and you will see the Lodge.

If you miss the turn for Bar N Ranch on Hwy 20 you will come to the KOA Campgrounds. You have gone too far ... just turn around and come back to the first driveway that will then be on your left.

Driving Directions From Idaho Falls, Idaho

As you get into Idaho Falls from the South (Interstate 15), you will come to an exit for Hwy 20. Take that exit towards West Yellowstone. You will skirt Idaho Falls, Rigby, Rexburg, Sugar City and St Anthony. Keep going, you will go through Ashton and on up the hill, you will come to Island Park (holds the record for having the longest main street in the world, 37 miles). Keep going on Hwy 20, you will go over Targhee Pass then about 3 miles you will come to a KOA campgrounds, you need to slow down because we are the very next driveway to the left. There is a Bar N sign on the Hwy. Turn LEFT and follow the driveway for about one mile and you will see the Lodge.

Driving from Bozeman (Gallatin Field) Airport

As you leave the airport, turn RIGHT on Highway 205. You will come to a stop sign at Jackrabbit Lane. There will also be a sign saying West Yellowstone, turn here. You will turn LEFT and proceed straight. This road will take you to Hwy 191, just continue on straight, all the way to West Yellowstone. As you get into West Yellowstone you will come to a signal light. This light is the intersection of Hwy 191 and Hwy 20. You will turn RIGHT and go towards Idaho Falls. About 5 miles from town is a river, this is the South Fork of The Madison River. Keep going and about one mile you should see the Bar N Ranch sign on the right hand side of the road. Turn RIGHT and follow the driveway in about a mile and you will see the Lodge.

If you pass the Bar N Ranch you will come to the KOA Campgrounds, just turn around and come back to the first driveway which will then be on your left.

Driving from Jackson, WY Airport

Going through the park: 136 miles Leaving the airport go north on US 89 (US191) this will take you to the South entrance of Yellowstone National Park. At the Entrance you will have to pay an entrance fee $20.00, this is good for 7 consecutive days. They will also give you a park map. (You can follow the park map or the road signs to the West Entrance.) As you leave out of the West Entrance you will be in the town of West Yellowstone, MT. At the first stop sign you will be at Canyon Street, turn RIGHT and go to the second signal light. At this light you will be at Hwy 20. Turn LEFT on to Hwy 20 (towards Idaho Falls). You will go approximately 6 miles. (We are located between the Deep Well Ranch and KOA Campgrounds.) There is a sign on the right side of the road. Turn at the sign and the lodge is located 1 mile up the road.

Alternate route Going through Idaho: 136 miles

Jackson Scenic Drive (faster than above and equally beautiful) Leaving the airport go south on US 191 (US 89 & 26) follow this through Jackson and on the West side of Jackson turn RIGHT on Hwy 22. Follow Hwy 22 to Hwy 33, going through Driggs and Tetonia, Idaho. Just after Tetonia, turn RIGHT on Hwy 32 and proceed to Ashton, Idaho. When you get to Ashton turn RIGHT onto Hwy 20. Follow Hwy 20 past the Idaho/Montana state line. Continue on Hwy 20 towards West Yellowstone, however when you get to the KOA Campgrounds slow down, we are the next driveway (there is a sign on the left side of the road. At the driveway turn LEFT, the lodge is located 1 mile up the driveway.

Directions from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park

As you enter West Yellowstone through the National Park Gate you will come to a four way stop. Turn RIGHT at the stop sign onto Canyon Street. You will cross one stoplight (Madison Avenue) and continue toward a second stoplight (Highway 20). Please turn LEFT, heading west towards Idaho. Roughly 5 miles from town you will cross the famed South Fork of The Madison River. Continue driving for about one mile and you should see the Bar N Ranch sign on the right hand side of the road. Turn RIGHT and follow the driveway in about a mile and you will see the Lodge to your right.

If you pass the Bar N Ranch you will come to the KOA Campgrounds, just turn around and come back to the first driveway that will then be on your left.
